How to send PM quickly, PM been in Outbox a day now?

I noticed that my messages (PM) are not sent right away, but stay in the Outbox. I sent an email yesterday, and it's still in the Outbox and I don't know how long it will be there. Last night I had two messages in the Outbox, but one of them finally was sent overnight. Is there anything that can be done so that it's sent right away?

Messages are sent right away. They simply remain in your outbox until the recipient logs in and reads them.

Ah, OK, that's good to hear. It's actually nice since it also works as a receipt for the message.
